Teman Merakit’s fashion collaboration, A Journey Towards the Sun, is inspired by the powerful story of Laksmi, a Balinese woman moving through the five stage of grief. From bargaining to acceptance, we bring her emotional journey to life by integrating illustrations with textiles, pouring colors into each stitch, and blending fashion with movement.

At Teman Merakit, we believe in the strength of collaboration. By bringing together four talented Indonesian creatives, we craft stories that celebrate the wisdom of Balinese women. Our fashion products reflect this shared journey, highlighting each artist’s skills while honoring our heritage.
